Tailor made adventures, xc, hike & fly and vol-bivouac in the stunning Southern Alps

Why New Zealand?

New Zealand’s wild and rugged landscapes offer some of the most unique and magical flying experiences in the world. Whether you’re into xc, hike & fly, or vol-bivouac, this stunning destination offers unparalleled opportunities for pilots ready to take their skills to the next level.  You’ll find adventure at every turn.

New Zealand does not make flying easy. The weather is complex, the terrain is demanding, the logistics are genuinely difficult. There are valleys in the Southern Alps with no trails, no roads, and no retrieve. Vol-bivouac is the only sensible way to explore them.

This is exactly why flying here is so good.

Kinga has based herself here for years and knows this country’s flying the way pilots know their home mountain. Southern Alps, Queenstown, Wanaka, Tekapo, the North Island coast: she knows the sites, the conditions, the lines, and the catches. Personal coaching here is not just a guided tour, but a deep immersion into some of the most challenging and rewarding flying on earth.

Why Personal Coaching?

Group clinics work well in places where logistics are manageable and conditions are predictable. New Zealand is neither. The weather changes fast, the mountains are remote, and what you learn is much more valuable when it’s built around what’s actually in front of you. One-on-one coaching (or a group of 2-3 pilots who already know each other and fly together) means more flying, better decisions, and a tailored progression that adjusts in real time. You get the mountain to yourself, and a pilot who knows it beside you.

What Can you Expect?

We can cover anything relevant to your goals: XC planning and execution, hike & fly technique, vol-bivouac skills, top landings, slope landings, meteorology for complex terrain, gear setup, physical preparation, and the mental side of flying in an environment that keeps you honest. The North Island coast is ideal for ground handling and technical work. The Southern Alps are for everything else.
