Ready for adventure?
Mountain XC, Hike & Fly, Vol-Bivouac
You already know you want more from your flying.
Maybe it’s your first vol-bivouac. Maybe it’s breaking through a plateau you’ve been stuck on for years. Maybe it’s flying the mountains the way you’ve seen others fly them, confidently, with good judgment, knowing how to read the sky and the terrain and your own limits.
This is what the coaching is for.
All programs take a comprehensive approach: technical skills, mountain meteorology and planning, physical preparation, and the mental side of flying, which is never optional. What you work on depends entirely on where you are and where you want to go.
All sessions are designed not only to leave you with lasting memories from beautiful adventures in the mountains but to make you a better, safer, and justifiably self-confident pilot who can plan and execute a mountain XC flight, hike&fly adventure, or vol-bivouac expedition, and then if necessary adjust your plans to the conditions.

Is it any good?
Kinga is incredibly insightful, inspirational and highly driven woman. I have already taken so much from this experience and believe the growing will continue for quite some time. I truly cannot thank her enough.
Halina
I really felt like this was the opposite of a commercial experience, it was intimate, individually tailored, well thought out and truthful about reality, truthful about what you are capable of and where you should be focusing your energy on to jump forward into vol biv safely and with confidence.
Graham
Kinga made my dream of camping and flying come true. It was fun, safe, I learned so much and gained a lot of confidence in the mountains.

Frequently Asked Questions
Personal coaching is 100% tailor-made. Any level of experience works as long as you have a full PG licence. From your first real XC or top landing to multiday vol-bivouac, tell me what you’re aiming for and we’ll build from there.
For group clinics you need a full PG licence, 150h of airtime including at least 100h of non-coastal flying (thermals and/or mountain glides), a few 30km+ XC flights under your belt, experience on at least 5 different take-offs, and the ability to take off unassisted and land safely on reasonable spots. Each group has its own dynamic, and we talk through the details beforehand to make sure the level and the vibe are a good match.
It depends on the adventure, area, etc. so we’ll discuss details individually. A good starting point is here but stay calm, usually you don’t need so much stuff! Have a look below and if in doubt, get in touch.
There is usually some hiking included into vol-biv. However depending on your goals and fitness level, we can minimize amount of hiking and/or arrange supported vol-bivouac (pick-ups, cable cars etc). If you worry about your fitness, it’s probably unnecessary, vol-bivouac is not X-Alps! Get in touch to discuss the details and find the best option for you.
No problem. You’ll learn all this stuff in fun and safe environment.
To book your spot, send us an email via Contact Form and we’ll discuss the details.
To confirm your participation, you’ll be asked to pay 30% deposit. The deposit is nonrefundable but if you cancel your participation a month before the start date, it can be transferred to another date, group adventure or 1:1 coaching.
General Checklist
BASICS
Functional paraglider, harness and reserve parachute, vario/gps, mobile phone and a radio.
For the mountain adventures you need a satellite tracker. We recommend inReach as it allows sending and receiving messages. If you don’t have one, we can arrange rental.
Clothing depends on the area, it will be different in Himalayas than in New Zealand Alps but we will fly and camp in the mountains so take some warm layers.
Camping gear
You will need your own camping gear and food of your choice (i.g. freeze dried meals, couscous, instant soups, oatmeal, biscuits, tea, coffee, etc.)
We’re happy to advise on exact choice (tent or tarp, sleeping bag or sleeping in a wing etc.), depending on the area specifics and your personal preferences we will help you find your perfect setup.
insurance
It is essential that you have travel insurance which covers you in respect of: medical treatment, medical repatriation and search & rescue by helicopter.
We will ask you to fill a sheet form, including emergency contact details, insurance policy and contact numbers and risk acceptance sign offs. Please give it a good read and make sure you understand and accept the risk involved.
